About

Who builds polydesk clicktrader, and how this site is made

What polydesk clicktrader is

polydesk clicktrader is a desktop application for Windows and macOS that shows prediction markets as price ladders and a grid and places the order you click, with the size preset you selected. It runs on your own computer and talks to the Polymarket API directly; your signer key is created and stays on your device, and no server of ours is in the order path. The Free tier includes live trading with size caps; Plus lifts the caps for a flat price. The software is in open beta. It is compatible with Polymarket and not affiliated with, operated or endorsed by Polymarket.

What it is not: a bot, a copy-trading service, a signal provider or a custodian. It places no order you did not click and gives no recommendation. Details are in the FAQ and the terms.

Who builds it

polydesk clicktrader is made by itereon GmbH, a software engineering company in Vienna, Austria. itereon works on software engineering, intelligent automation and AI strategy for clients and builds its own products; polydesk clicktrader is one of them. The legal identity of the company is on the imprint. You can also find itereon on LinkedIn and on GitHub, where the public releases repository carries every build, its checksums and the issue tracker.

The name

The product is called polydesk clicktrader, always with both words; the logo sets the first word in capitals. "Click trading" is the practice of placing orders by clicking price cells in a ladder instead of filling in a form, the way exchange traders have worked for decades. The ladder trading guide explains it.

Other products exist that use the word "PolyDesk" in their name. They are not related to polydesk clicktrader or to itereon GmbH, and we have no connection to them. If you arrived here looking for one of them, this is a different product.

Why we built it

Entering, adjusting and cancelling many orders through a browser form is slow, and the people who do that all day on exchanges have used ladders for a long time. We wanted the same instrument for prediction markets, built so that the software never holds keys or funds. That design decision shapes everything else on this site: the architecture section on the landing page, the privacy policy and the way downloads are published with checksums.

How this site and its guides are made

The guides under Learn describe the software as it runs. They are written by the itereon team from working with the application; we use AI tools to draft and edit, and every statement is checked against the running software and against the legal texts before it is published. Each guide shows its publication date and the date of its last content change, taken from the version history of this site. The changelog is rendered from the release notes of the public repository. The site uses no analytics and no tracking; what is stored is described on the cookie page.

The guides explain how the software works. They do not recommend markets, strategies or sizes, and they make no promise about trading results. Trading on prediction markets can lead to the loss of all committed funds; whether you may use offers on third-party platforms at your location is for you to verify. The terms, section 5, describe the risks of beta software.
